Ryane Gaston has served as an educator for 19 years. Mrs. Gaston has served in various elementary teaching roles as a kindergarten, 1st grade, K-5 resource, and 3rd grade teacher, Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal.
Mrs. Gaston earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Texas State University. Her educational experiences have afforded her the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people to meet the common goal of increasing student achievement and well-being. Her educational philosophy is based on the belief that all students can learn, given a positive learning environment, strong and knowledgeable leadership, and a supportive family. Mrs. Gaston is ecstatic to serve the students and their families at Pioneer Crossing Elementary. She understands how important of a role the school plays in making sure the children of our community are receiving a quality education that will prepare them with the skills they need to be successful in today’s society.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children traveling with dance and sports, and shopping.

It is with great honor that I write this letter of introduction as the new Assistant Principal of Pioneer Crossing Elementary!
I attended Southern University A&M College where I earned a degree in Business Management/Marketing. I received my teaching endorsement from the University of Kentucky and went on to obtain a Masters in Reading and Literacy from Concordia University, Texas. This school year will mark my 24th year in public education, where I have served as a classroom Teacher, Instructional Coach, Financial Coordinator and Assistant Principal. I believe that all students can learn at the most optimal level and grow in a nurturing and safe environment. I look forward to our first year together supporting and encouraging our amazing students, staff, parents and the community
